Before I got married almost two years ago, I used to be a great one for waiting until the
last minute. Luckily for me, I didn't wait to book my DJ, I hired Martin about four months
in advance (it was just over a six month engagement). Martin was wonderful to work with
right from the beginning.
When I first spoke with Martin, I filled him in briefly as to what the crowd would be like,
what I was looking to have played, and what I didn't want played. He also was providing
the music for my wedding ceremony itself and took the time to both research and find the
classical pieces I wanted played, in spite of my off-tune explanations.
I actually worked right up until the day before my wedding and my schedule made it
difficult to meet and discuss what the plan was. Yet, Martin took the time to handle the
entire planning of the ceremony and the reception via cell phone with me. In fact, he was
more confident in the plans for the wedding than I was! That turned out to be a very good
thing because, when confusion broke out at the restaurant because they misinterpreted my
instructions, Martin stepped forward and fixed the problems. My husband and I didn't even
know about them until after the day was over!
The music selection that Martin had for the reception was extensive and everyone had a
wonderful time. I truly don't think that there was a single person there that didn't dance
at least once. He was professional and courteous to everyone. His skill at blending
different types of songs together so the changes weren't abrupt was amazing (I hear it's
not easy to go from "Cotton-Eyed Joe" to any Billy Joel tune). As an MC, I couldn't have
asked for any better. I guess all I can say is that Martin was the best DJ I could have
ever asked for and he truly made the day very special for my husband and I.

Martin, thanks so much for making our wedding so much fun. You even had my grandmother

My husband is from Kenya and Martin did a fantastic job introducing my new in-laws (and
pronouncing their names correctly). Not an easy job. He also had all the guests
entertained and dancing all night long. He was very flexible and accommodating as well
with regards to the traditional Kenyan singing and dancing my new family did. Thanks
Martin!!

Martin made our small wedding a fantastic one. He played every song that I asked him to
and he even played the stranger requests that I made. He probably had to buy some CDs that
he'll never use again, but that, as well as other small details, made it an awesome day.

My husband became ill on the way to our reception and we wound up being two and a half
hours late. Martin handled it great and was able to re-arrange all the dances and
introductions until we finally arrived after dinner and saved what could have been a
disastrous evening. We'll never forget it Martin. Thank you!

I just wanted to tell you that we so much enjoyed the way you played our wedding! Your
level of "visibility" and involvement was exactly what we wanted - perfect! You played all
the songs we'd requested, mixed in with a great variety of everything else, and kept
everyone dancing! Of course, you picked up on it when we finally got a crowd in there &
played all the "party" songs too - but even then, with just the right touch that we wanted.
Thank you so much for helping us to have a PERFECT wedding!! We will be happy to recommend
you to anybody else who ever needs a DJ for any occasion.
